Student Opportunities
The UVM Office of Primary Care is pleased to offer paid opportunities for student projects during the summer of 2016. The Vermont Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) program is a federally funded program with a mission to improve the health of our communities through the development of the health care workforce.
Be a mentor. Be an Assistant Director at MedQuest.
Health Professions Students, graduate and undergraduate, are being recruited to be Assistant Directors for the Champlain Valley AHEC MedQuest 2016. Be a mentor and introduce healthcare careers to high school students. There are a total of three, four-day sessions each with a specific career-cluster focus: Therapeutic Services, Diagnostic Services, and Counseling and Mental Health Services. Applications are now available and are due by March 7, 2016.

Champlain Valley AHEC 2016 Summer Project
2016 AHEC Summer Projects are designed to offer inter-professional community based service learning opportunities for UVM College of Medicine students, Nurse Practitioner and other graduate health professions students.These are paid work and learning opportunities. Applications are now available and are due by March 7, 2016.
