In partnership with the UVM College of Medicine AHEC Program office we support health care professionals in the Champlain Valley through a variety of programs including loan repayment and support for preceptors and clinical instructors. In addition, we are pleased to offer several continuing education opportunities throughout the year.

Continuing Education
Continuing Education is one way that Champlain Valley AHEC is demonstrating a strong commitment to rural healthcare workforce development. Events are targeted to health care professionals such as physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, coders, and other medical care staff.
Loan Repayment
The Vermont Educational Loan Repayment for Healthcare Professionals, established by the Vermont General Assembly, is to help insure a stable supply of primary care providers to meet the health care needs of Vermonters. This program is administered by AHEC.
